We here at the Cat Farm and Confusion Factory have received several boxes of books over the last few days. Here our models show a few:

First, Steve, with the ever-popular Ghost Ship arc and brand-new! Saltation mass market:

Next up is Sharon, boldly attempting the same ensemble.  Not as fetching as Steve, alas, but points for sheer nerve:

And, finally, effortlessly outshining the rest of the company, Mozart, who reads in bed:

Mozart Reads Ghost Ship

A fine gift for your fans and well-wishers. One is most heartened to observe that all appear in robust good health.

Yup, Friday is a good day.

Mozart is extremely handsome, even with his trim.

Is that a Robin Wood work I see behind Steve? It looks like her style, but I am not sure at the small size...

But no, closer inspection reveals a very fetching Val Con and Miri...

That is a Susan Krinard* oil; a birthday present from Steve.

That is a most excellent birthday present.

And I did not know Susan Krinard had a career as an artist! I did not enjoy The Forest Lord for some reason, but I'm going to have to see if I picked up Kinsman's Oath. I can't recall if I have read it, but it appears to be a sequel to the very delightful "Kinsman" in the Out of This World anthology.

Nice juxtaposition of your copy of Saltation and its cover, in all its glory without obscuring titles, behind your shoulder.

Photos/Books!

Nice to know that one could bribe Mozart for bits of the story of Ghost Ship. Maybe some nice canned salmon would do.

Also glad to see Sharon's new hairdo. Looks very nice. I was afraid it was one of those spiky ones.

Reminds me I must e-mail Mr. Blyly and ask for my very own copy of Ghost Ship.

Thanks for keeping us up to date.

Pretty!! My eyes, of course, go straight to the books.
Though I agree that Sharon's New Haircut (tm) is fetching.

You all watch Vanna White religiously, right? :)

Thanks for the intriguing glimpse of the artwork & bookshelves! Authors are fine [& the new haircut flattering], but the [carefully color-coordinated] cat naturally carries the day.
