Laundry’s done, and other tales of glamor
Friday, September 2nd, 2011 07:20 pmYes, it’s true! The laundry is done. Onward, to the dishes!
Today was mostly about the continuing campaign to catch up email (if you haven’t heard from me, I’m not ignoring you; I just haven’t gotten to your letter yet), and writing. The first section of “Guaranteed Delivery” is done; now we switch viewpoints.
I realize that I am remiss in several announcements of possible interest.
First, The Crystal Variation, including Crystal Soldier, Crystal Dragon, and Balance of Trade is now shipping from Amazon.
Second, we have at least one report of a Ghost Ship that we personalized during our stop-over at Uncle Hugo’s reaching its final destination. If you haven’t received yours yet, it’s on the way!
Thirdly, Rachel Hyland (also known for her editorial role at Geek Speak Magazine) did a lovely article about the Romance of the Liaden Universe® here Feel free to read and comment.
Fourthly, I need to do the dishes. Oh, wait…

So good to have you back. You were missed.
Date: 2011-09-03 12:30 am (UTC)Patricia Bray said it so well: “These stories have it all. Adventure, intrigue, romance. Loyal friendships and hidden treachery… Ultimately, this is a story about extraordinary people (both human and alien) who find in friendship, loyalty and love the strength to face overwhelming challenges."
In a earlier post, you commented on no chapbooks in the schedule. Honestly, it feels like there will be *bonus* chapbook stories available to through Splinter Universe. I'm delighted to support more stories as opposed to once a year. And love it that there's no waiting ... instant gratification is way ok.
Best regards. And skritches to Mozart and Scrabble, who bided so patiently.

Again asking will Intelligent Design and Kin Ties be available in an e-format of some kind so I can plonk it into my new Kindle when I buy it? The Kindle: because your stories I'm guessing will be only on an e basis. Did Steve get tired of sending chapbooks one at a time from the post office?

Then plan is to put the stories up as echapbooks on Amazon, BN and Smashwords as they age off the page. Right now, I don't know how long "age off the page" will be, because we're learning by doing.
