rolanni: (Pissed isn't she?)

Folks, I realize that not everybody wants/needs an LJ account and I do allow people who are not registered with LiveJournal to post here -- i.e. to post "anonymously."

HOWEVER.

You must sign your post with a name that you answer to.

I have and will continue to delete unsigned "anonymous" posts that offend and/or irritate me. I will definitely delete posts -- signed or unsigned -- that insult long-time posters to this blog. Or, yanno, me.

We adhere to a certain casual cordiality here. Sometimes, discussions become warm, but in general I want the discussions which are being held, as it were, in my living room, to generate more light than heat.

Sign your posts.

Be polite.

This doesn't seem too tough to me. If it seems too tough to you, please find some other blog to enjoy.

Thanks.

sigh. Totally agree. Also have tried to sign up for LJ multiple times, but it will only talk to me in Japanese ( not a metaphor- a reality), and won't accept my typing the weird prove you human words... I wrote them- they don't get it. back to anon. :)

LJ also allows you to log in with IDs from other places like Facebook, Twitter or Gmail. Or, you can setup an OpenId account and use that. Of course I'm posting from an LJ account, so do not have direct experience on how easy that is to actually do.

I have a LJ account, but since it's a pseudonym created for a specific purpose, I tend to use my FB login for general LJ commentary.

And yeah, it's easy.
