And I just splurged on the newest Sony reader last week which is such a fast little machine even with 700 files already on board. But you'll have to wait until I finish my current category romance until I dig in, even though I shall buy the eARC right now. Next week is a holiday week over here, so I may save it for after all my test correcting.

I will download it as soon as I get the next job application finished. I can wait. I can wait. No, think I will download it now. What's another day when I have a new book by Sharon and Steve! Hurrah!

aaaaaarrgh!

There, there.

You can assuage your grief by reading the first nine chapters: http://www.baenebooks.com/chapters/A9781451638875/A9781451638875.htm?blurb

That's another fiendish ploy. I'm trying hard to give up the Earc habit, and I was doing so well. But then you had to remind me about the sample chapters and I succumbed to the lure of a free fix, and of course I was doomed.

Oh ghod, it has been a day. Now I can go home, download the eArc and read. I can forget today!! Much thanks (even though I know you have no control over what Baen does)!

Perfect! It's raining and kinda dark here in Oregon, the perfect setting for a comfort read. Did errands and treated self to Mexican take-out yesterday and there's leftovers...don't even have to worry about food prep today.

Thank you so much.

Izzat Chapter 2? Crawling in pipes, bouncing off walls... sounds like Adventure! You are in a maze of twisty little passages...

The eArc is out, and there is rejoicing in the ... actually, there's silence as everyone turns to their glowing screens in quiet contemplation...

Got it, but had other errands so been reading when I could. Up to chapter thirty-two!

New books, new kitchen toys, new things to watch. All this keeps a person busy.

Great blurb. I was going to wait for regular release, read the blurb, and will probably be buying the e_arc by end of day.

Happy, happy!

Downloaded it. Started reading it in bed. Glad I found the notice on Thursday night of an off-Friday week so I could read until 1 am several nights running. :) I really liked it. It tied many little threads together into a very lovely side story that gave some of the "smaller" characters some 'screen time. THanks!
