My office had gotten into a terrible state, what with several stacks of file boxes that had been shoved into corners "temporarily" celebrating the second anniversary of their tenancy this tax season.  Steve helped me carry them all down to the basement, where they're now happy among their kin.

After the boxes were dealt with, I filed, and I picked things up off the floor and put them away.  I realize now that I should have taken Before pictures, so the transformation can be more completely realized, but!  these may serve as a reminder to me, at least, that the place can t0o be neat.  Or at least, neater.

Having goofed off today in fine form for most of the day, I'll now go to work, though I find myself somewhat at a standstill regarding the Exact Sorts of Fish that occupy the Gulf of Maine, and in specific, Saco Bay, and what they look like.  The internet has failed me in this.  I need to run errands tomorrow, so perhaps a stop at the library for a. . .fishiary?. . .is in order.

Although I was forced to give up being a Bluenose before my 6th birthday on account of being an Air Force brat, I remember there being Ocean Perch, Mackerel, Tuna, Cod (probably not many of those left nowadays), Atlantic Salmon, Flounder...

Here's a list for New Hampshire (haitchteeteepeacolonslashslash www(dot)nhoutdoors(dot)com/fish_species(dot)htm <-URL munged to get past the spam filter) which is probably good enough to give you pointers in the right direction. After all, there are unlikely to be signposts on the sea bottom telling New Hampshire fish not to enter the waters of the Gulf of Maine, especially since Google tells me that they're already residents of the Gulf of Maine : )

Alright, your pictures have given me inspiration. I have been putting off organizing my office (which is shared by my husband, cat and dog) for the last mumblefrats weeks. Will attack it tomorrow. Can't do it tonight, off to meet our youngest for a visit to the local traveling carnival. Glad he asked us to join him. Hurrah! Oh, really like the minions! Kudos to the first commentator who looked up the fish in Maine. I would have done that (or anything else I could think of) to put off the office cleanup but I was beaten to it. Must be another sign to get to work.

Sorry, the previous comment seems to have doubled. This guy: Capt. Cal Robinson, owner and operator of Saco Bay Stripers Guide Service, He has a web page with a phone number. You could ask about the kind of fish you need described, get the species names, then search by species names.

the office manager is probably feeling better now with her new very tidy nice office. Also she might be interested in the fish thing I'd imagine if you can find photos of said fishies.

I remember something about the Atlantic salmon being just about extinct. Sad. But that would be over around the Irish coast and such.
