CRYSTAL SOLDIER: BOOK ONE OF THE GREAT MIGRATION DUOLOGY HARDCOVER HAS SHIPPED
According to Meisha Merlin's publisher Stephe Pagel, initial orders
of _Crystal Soldier_, the newest Liaden Universe(R) novel by Sharon Lee
and Steve Miller, were shipped out to warehouses February 17 and 18,
in time for the book to "break" at SheVaCon in Roanoke, Virginia
February 25. Barnes and Noble says _Crystal Soldier_ should hit
its shelves February 28. _Crystal Soldier_ is the beginning of a
two-book series about Jela and Cantra and the start of the Liaden
adventure. Those SheVaCon attendees who have pre-ordered may pick their book up from the Meisha Merlin table. All other pre-orders will be mailed by Sharon and Steve in early March.

authors are Special Guests; convention Guests of Honor are writer
L.E. Modesitt, Jr., and Artist Tim Hildebrandt; Master of Ceremonies
is Rikk Jacobs. Other scheduled guests include Laura Underwood,
John Ringo, David B. Coe, Eric Flint, David Drake, and Stephen Pagel.
Lee & Miller will be reading at the convention and hope to be able to
share sample chapters of the Local Custom audio book, narrated by Michael Shanks, at the convention.
