About that string...

Sprite is frequently the motivating force of that string; if it is left alone in the cat toy pile in the living room for too long she will *make announcements and pronouncements* and find it. On the overnight -- the string having been put to sleep on the edge of that cat toy pile -- the string will wander, sometimes only to the door leading the the basement, often to the middle of the hall in front of the bathroom door, and not infrequently to the threshold of the bedroom door. Once in awhile the string arrives in the bedroom itself -- in which case it may well be accompanied by the brown floofy mouse-with-a-voice. The the best of our knowledge Trooper does not motivate the string -- but Sprite does.

Glad to know that the Princess has two birthdays and many names. Boopsie is good. Wouldn't be good to get that wrong. Lots of luck with the very mysterious string.
