I took all of my clothes that don't fit me out of the closet, stripped them off the hangers and stuffed the clothes into bags to go to Goodwill.  This is the follow-up act to last week's giving away of the coats that no longer fit.

Yeah, it's a thrill a minute around here.

I also washed yesterday's dishes, edited the chunk of stuff I wrote yesterday, did research on bolas, and will soon make the internet vanish so I can write New Things today.

The cats. . .are all sleeping as dangerously as possible.

And that?  Is all I've got.

If you are still looking for a home for some of your books (I know how painful that is, I donated over 2000 to our local friends of the library last summer), our local prison is specifically requesting SciFi / Fantasy paperbacks. If you have a hoosegow within reasonable distance, you might want to check with them.
And old clothes, coats are real property and can be deducted from the taxes. Thanks for the snippet, and it counts as a productive day you've had!

Ah yes cleaning out the closet in preparation for moving. That is both extremely liberating and depressing. You get all of that closet space back from clothes you aren't going to wear and depressing because most of them are things you liked to wear once upon a year. ::nods::

I swear your snippets are like standing downwind of the house smelling something good cooking for a supper that you've still got hours of hard working to get through before you can sit down to it. I've got to do that thinning the herds in the closet thing, too. I believe it's called a "reality check." Those are always cold, hard and tough. Hope you have something nice waiting in a wine bottle for a little quality time this evening.

I hang onto clothes believing that I may lose enough weight to fit into them again. But what in the world makes me think I'll lose enough years to wear skirts that short ever again?
