Have you read the Pit Dragon stories by Jane Yolen? There are 4, and they are some of my most favorite dragon stories. They are YA, but I don't read too young to me. I recently found them as ebooks at my library, so I'm doing a re-read. Just thought I'd throw an unasked for recommendation at you!
