Boxing Day

Boxing events at the Lee-Miller Cat Farm and Confusion Factory today have been canceled.  We regret the inconvenience.

Today, on the outside of the house, the weather is sunny and blue, and warm, for Central Maine values of warm in December (41F/5C).  The wind, which, yesterday, was quite dreadful, has died down.  The snow has largely melted and it looks like the approach to mud season.

One hears that Carousel Seas is shipping from BN.  One assumes that pre-orders are also shipping from Amazon, though it's worth noting that this is an assumption.

Those who have written, wondering about the "next book" in the trilogy -- sorry, folks.  It is a trilogy; Carousel Seas is the third book; the story arc begun in Carousel Tides, and continued in Carousel Sun, is now completed*.

I will be doing a chewy, fact-filled post sometime after New Year's Day, but I did want to let those folks we normally look forward to seeing at Boskone that -- what with one thing and pneumonia -- we will not (not) be attending Boskone 52.

I'm glad the weather isn't horrible, and I hope that some sun contributes to a fast and uncomplicated recuperation for you both. Yay for books, boo for missing Boskone, and happy Friday with the cats and some tea.

Have a good recovery....I wish you could come to my boxing day party so I could ply you with thai chicken and rum punch, but it would be a bit of a trip to make it. Have a good week and swift recovery.

My hardcopy of Carousel Seas arrived from BN on December 24th, which has made for enjoyable holiday reading, and glad I am to have it available a bit earlier than I had anticipated.

I did feel you ended the Carousel books in a solid arc -- but would you ever consider returning to the universe to show it from the exile's pov now that they are free?

Sorry I'm horrid with names but the isn't the ex-batwing horse & firey dude that other dude thought was an Angel -- still in the midst of conflict, political wrangling with the group that locked them up in the first place? (Ie. that woman with ice powers?)

It just seems like it was screaming for a spin-off. (Sorry I guess I've been brainwashed by my TV).

But I can't complain - as you long as keep writing something! :D I pretty much devour anything you write & I'm so exciting to read the upcoming Dragon in Exile. Would BAEN be doing an e-arc for March or something?
