Adventures in banking this morning; but I finally got the New Zealand check deposited. Why on earth would a bank stamp a check "Non-negotiable A/C Only"? A recipe for disaster, even though it was clearly explained to me that what it means to say is that the recipient of the check can't just up and cash it; they must deposit it. All well and good, but the folks who need that information are the banks here. Grrr.

Still no Absolute Magnitude in the mailbox, which is too bad. Not only do I want to see "Sweet Waters" again, but there are several other stories in this issue I'm keen to read.

I've taken Crystal Dragon as far as I can, and so the last 54 pages now go to kinzel. Tomorrow, I'll sit down with the print out, lacking those last pages, which kinzel has gone over, and start the last read/clean-up.

Mozart is asleep in the rocking chair. Good plan, actually.

I was delighted and rather shocked to discover Absolute Magnitude in my mailbox today. It's been so long since I've seen an issue I thought my subscription had run out. o_0
