Canceling Boskone

After assessing the situation (The Situation) with Steve's health, new med mix, upcoming dental surgery, and the cardio doc's rather pointed, "Do you understand what I mean when I say don't push?" we've decided not (that is NOT) to attend Boskone in February.

We'll miss seeing our various friends and colleagues, but -- necessity is.

(Feorag won't be there, because Trump, and this might be my last US convention for a few years, because ditto: I'll just have to sit tight and see how bad things get.)

And of course it is always worst when a doctor says: "So what part of that didn't you understand? No or Not?"

Tell Steve that as hard as following the doctor's advice to take it easy is hard, the rest of us don't want to have to listen to the results of him not following that advice.
