Sleeping In

...didn't get up 'til quarter to eight. Toasted blueberry muffin and coffee for breakfast; casual chat with kinzel (who broke his fast with a pumpkin muffin, but I love him anyway). Don't hafta plug into the phone lines until 10 a.m. tomorrow-Saturday. Nap is penned into the schedule. Bliss.

Thanks to everyone who sent condolences, here and in private. We're still moving gingerly around the Patia-sized hole in the household, but things are settling, slowly, as they do...

For those who have been breathless for word of Dulsey, Queen of Creation, there is news of great moment. In order to honor her kinship with one of the greatest righter-of-wrongs in Hanna Barbera history, Her Chaoticness has adopted a new title, and may now be addressed by those who worship her as they should as

In other news, El Dulsey has just last evening mastered the Secret of the Cat Door, and is now able to pursue Scrabble, that most Evil of Arch-Villainesses, down into her Secret Headquarters.

And -- just by the way -- it's snowing.
