Photos of my office.

From the hallway, looking at the opposite corner.

From the opposite corner toward the hall. The green towel is on top of a portable plastic file cabinet, which doubles as Mozart's command station, for those times when he's not needed in the rocker.

The bookcase to the right of the hall door, blurry, as always.

I'm fortunate in having a downright spacious office -- an entire 128 square feet -- all to myself. Poor [livejournal.com profile] kinzel is jammed into a measly 105 square feet. Our offices are the second and third bedrooms, respectively. The window in the back wall looks out over fir trees and our little scrap of wood. There's another window over the table to the right of the file cabinet, which overlooks the snowmobile trail and the elbow of the road.

I really did think it was bigger.

79 square feet.

Wow, that is compact. Everything ought to be right within reach...

If I just turn my chair around, I can peruse one entire bookcase. Scoot the chair about two feet, and I can check out another one. The one that's across the room--can't roll the chair over there anymore. Mickey and his pillow now occupy that patch of floor space, and Mickey's not one for moving.

When I use the treadmill, I have to move Mickey's pillow into my bedroom for the duration. He's out like a light by the time I finish up, so I just let him sleep. That dog could lock up the gold medal in the canine sleep Olympics.

yes indeed, "spacious" is the word that came to mind as I viewed the first photo.

I'm envious, as I haven't yet completed the conversion of the second bedroom of the new house into a workspace. Right now it's mostly just "the library," bur real soon now I need to get a work table in there. Meantime, I continue to do my daily writing at a local McDonald's as I've been doing for over two years now. But one day...

(someday, SOMEDAY, I'll figure out how to post pictures in LJ...)

It looks cool. I particularly like the accessories - EVERY office should have a sleeping cat in it...

That's an extremely handsome office. Love the paneling -- and the sliders. How d'you keep it so neat?

I don't [grin]

That photo was taken literally days after the desk was installed. It has NEVER been so neat since...

Nice space!!--I have exactly 100 square feet. [at that, it's more floor space than the Old House--but I do miss the 10-foot ceilings with all the lovely wall space for my posters and what-not]. But wait until hubby gets around to painting the walls that nice lilac that I enjoy. :) [he won't let me near a paintbrush or anything else resembling mechanical devices which I will manage to drop, spill or break].

I'm not admitting how large my office is...although those coming to WFC will find out, if I finish shoveling, among other things....
