Was just now trying to pin down a breakfast venue for Boskone and find that the Marche Movenpik went bankrupt in 2004 and was at that point not expected to reopen.

Anybody have fresh news about the Marche? How about a good spot for breakfast in or around the Prudential Center?

Argh! I hopped over to the Prudential Center's website, and they are no longer listed :-(

Here's what is there: http://www.prudentialcenter.com/sitemap.html

Copley Place has Dunkin Donuts and Au Bon Pain for breakfast, so pretty slim pickings there.

You can try Finagle a Bagel (http://www.finagleabagel.com/menu_breakfast.htm) at 535 Boylston St or

Trident Cafe (http://www.tridentbookscafe.com/breakfast.html), at 338 Newberry St or

Thornton's Restaurant, 150 Huntington Avenue, all of which are walking distance from the Sheraton.

Thanks for the suggestions. It looks like Trident Cafe will suit our purposes beautifully.

*sighs for the Marche-that-was*

Trident Cafe was what I was going to recommend. It's a short and outdoor walk, but they have tea (in many varieties, made with boiling water) and good breakfast and lunch type food, also, they're a bookshop, so it's soothing to see walls of books as you eat.

I ate there a lot at N4.

Trident Cafe was what I was going to recommend.

Trident looks delightful, and a short walk before breakfast is never out of order. Barring nasty (as opposed to pleasant) snowstorms...
