I love reading about your efforts. Does one have to pay to visit? (As in Steve's F of L mtg?) Cats must be hard to do, or perhaps they are hiding behind the fireplace off the roof?
How fun to have winter changing into spring! And the carousel is awesome.

Nope, you can sign up for a free account, pick up an avatar and play just like the rest of us. I will tell you that I wouldn't want to even attempt this without broadband access.

Actually, Boreal (the region where the house and carousel are) is in a snowfield. The guy next to me has a Christmas shop, and particles blow off the cherry trees in the breeze (anything's possible in virtual reality). It's pretty, in a cheesy sort of way.

the carousel is awesome.

The carousel is Very Nice, and it plays Ultimate Carousel Music. My one regret is that the horses are all stationary. However, the fact that you can actually ride this carousel makes it something special. There are all sorts of carousels in SL that aren't rideable -- and where's the sense in that, I ask you?

Hey, I took a ride on the carousel last night! Yay me! And I made a small donation. But I made like 600 linden camping last night, so I'll go back and offer more. :)

Yay, you! On behalf of the Second Childhood Park Association, I thank you for your donation. All donated funds are set aside for improvements to the park. Or, heck, if we get lots and LOTS of Lindens, we'll open a whole 'nother park.

That's some heavy camping...
