The day starts late
Sunday, June 11th, 2006 08:51 pmActually, the day started early. Last night
kinzel and I watched a movie so silly it wasn't even redeemed by being in French. It was interesting, however, to see such things as rotary telephones, and manual typewriters. It's amazing how much has changed in my lifetime.
After the movie, we sat and shot many bulls until the wee hours, then decided to have a nap, which we did. The day then re-started at about 9:30. We met for a leisurely breakfast, then went out in the mizzle to run errands. Father's Day cards have been achieved -- now all we have to do is remember to mail them -- and minor grocery shopping has been accomplished. As we were on our way home from the grocery store
THE. SUN. CAME. OUT. And then? It didn't rain again for the rest of the day! It is to swoon.
Spent a little bit of time in Second Life, then back to Real Life to write. I remember a time when I could write 2,000 words a day, but today was not that day. However, progress is being made. I'll have a ragged finish by the 15th. Which is OK.
And now, a few chores before meeting
kinzel for lunch.
