Meanwhile, here in very-sunny-thank-you Albuquerque, we finally had some rain after months of zippo. Not just once but two nights in a row. I guess we're not used to that wet stuff from the sky because, when I went to the gym at 4:30am, I found the place closed because part of the roof had caved in.

I know what you mean. Denver has now surpassed the previous record for number of days in June over 90 degrees. I realized how bad it was when my son ran outside in torrential rains last week in Michigan. Running around, catching raindrops on his tongue, while all the other kids stayed under cover. I think he had forgotten what rain feels like.
