A day of parts

rolanni...good parts, mostly, though I started off hungry and then had a technician draw a (really modest, but it's the principal of the thing) vial of blood, for which event I had donned my Mac Hall Cthulhu "Sell your soul for a cookie?" t-shirt. kinzel and I were shortly on course to the Freedom Cafe, where we partook of a late breakfast, then sped to Unity in order to collect the mail, of which we had High Hopes.
Which were, alas, dashed. Though we did take receipt of 100 Large Video Boxes, meaning that SRM can continue to mail out orders, so let there be Much Rejoicing.
From the post office, we drove in a coastward direction, eventually raising Belfast, where we went down to the floating docks to admire the American Glory, and several smaller ocean-going yachts, then up to town, wherekinzel pursued Knowledge too Dark and Fearsome to record within these pages.
Those small tasks accomplished, we proceeded to Augusta, where we dined royally -- even unto tiramisu -- at the Olive Garden, courtesy of the gift card my father sent at Christmas time. Stuffed and satisfied, we stopped at Barnes and Noble, where I scored the last copy of Blood and Iron in the place, and so to home.
It's hot here, and humid, and the cats aren't sure whether they should punish us for being gone all day or reward us for having returned.
I am utterly and completely exhausted. But it's a good exhaustion.
