News from the Large South American River

I see that Crystal Soldier is shipping from Amazon.com, though the catalog page still claims a 3-5 week waiting period. Right hand, meet left hand -- though I suppose it's (faintly) possible that the pre-orders wiped out Amazon's initial shipment. In any case, progress is progressing on that front.

Still no books here at the Fortress of Solitude, where we are enjoying a bright and breezy day. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week are looking like snow. Anyone who has clout with the Ghods of Weather -- now is the time to get on the horn.

Slow Day

Still not up to speed -- which wasn't helped by the fact that I had to go back and read Big Chunks of what went before to refresh my memory. Sword of Orion kept trying to influence the story, and we cannot, no really, have that.

So, when the dust clears we have:

Notes: Gah. I know what has to happen, but the characters' voices were all over the map today. I hate that. Ah, well. There is no scene so bad that it cannot be revised into something worthwhile. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
