As young Zander's illness lies hard upon him and his strength fails visibly with each passing day, we yesterday acquired the services of one Hewlett Packard Media Center to take up those tasks which Zander had for many years carried with that sprightly ease which was his nature. This new laborer makes himself known as Altair, which I must say suits him exactly; and as soon as I am able to convince him that he is not, in fact, the server and thereby above the petty demands of the network, there will be an orderly transfer of settings and programs, and he will be fit to take up his work on behalf of the house.

...who did not live through the operation. I have the accounts and the fiction; I can re-establish the programs. I have, however, lost Everything Email -- and Zandar is officially Toast.
