Wednesday, September 20th, 2006 06:16 pmSign-ups for my class fell short by two students, and so it's been canceled. Argh.
Also? Realized that today is my sister's birthday and that I didn't manage to get the card in the mail. Me for the phone in a few, I think.
In other news, I've been very industrious today, baking, cleaning off the countertop, waxing brushing the cat, doing two loads of laundry (so, all right -- towels. Sue me.), and all kinds of other things that are neither writing nor filling out the long, involved form that needs to be done. It's not that I mind filling out forms, exactly; it's more that I mind having to re-enter stuff that already exists in a perfectly accessible format that happens not to be the other guy's preferred format. It's probably a control thing.
For those Second Lifers who have been wondering why there's a HUGE honking quasi-Japanese house on the land where the merry-go-round is supposed to be -- the Second Childhood Carousel has been relocated to Friends of Liad Park in beautiful downtown Clay. Stop by, take a ride -- or three -- enjoy the waterfall, feed the koi.
Started The Privilege of the Sword yesterday, and been sneaking pages out of it all day. Probably won't finish tonight, but it's tempting.
