Bookkeeping, we hates it...
Monday, September 21st, 2009 07:37 pmBookkeeping and I have crossed swords, and the ledgers are black with decimal points. This ought to make me feel better than it actually does.
Work on the Fledgling mailing continues, in odd corners and back-places where you can't see. As a reward for having done my bookkeeping, I'm fiddling the database so it will play nice with the mailing software. Gah.
And I say again, Gah.
As of tonight, there are but 138 Saltations still in need of a home. See this page for details.
I am closing the door on Fledgling adoptions until after the mailing is complete and people have had time to sort out what they received as opposed to what they thought they ought to have received. If there are any books in need of a good home after that process is complete, we'll send out the word.
Fans of Mozart take note: He sleeps in the rocking chair, disdaining bookkeeping and databases alike.
