Hi, I'm Jim Hetley's elder son, the one he periodically asks for computer advice. I've been a fan of your writing for a while now, and I'm going to need to soak up some linux knowledge since I too wish to avoid Vista, so reading this journal from my friends list rather than whenever I remember seemed like a good idea.
