Game and set to the bears
Friday, November 10th, 2006 08:16 pmA series of disturbing dreams last night left behind a lingering malaise that I couldn't shake. Wasn't helped by having to completely rearrange my brain in order to start a long-needed website revamp. Or by a chirpy letter from the local arts folken inviting me to come meet "real Maine authors" (as opposed to imaginary Maine authors, I suppose) next Saturday. Or by the untimely and tragic death of the stained glass dragon that has hung from the ceiling in my office for many years.
On the plus side, I did actually get some revision done on Carousel Tides. With any luck, I'll be able to get a good chunk finished over the weekend.
We continue to get inquiries regarding ebook editions of our work. Rest assured that we will Let the World Know just as soon as we have anything substantial to announce.
And -- on that website revision. What would you -- yes, you, over there behind the potted palm -- want to see on a Sharon Lee website?

Date: 2006-11-12 02:01 am (UTC)They do some really good work there. My wish list includes a replacement for my little stained glass window.....someday.
Real Maine Authors? I got that note from the
Hardy Girls/Healthy Women list. I rather thought that they should be able to come up with more than just the three they have on board.....
You guys, Tom Easton, Gerry Boyle, J Hetley, That Colby Prof (couple of those, actually) Mimi Carpenter, Be hard put to NAME them all!
Children's Book Cellar Maine section is certainly full of them.
Web site? I second more pictures of you and that cutey hubby of yours. More you with your furry friends too; both real and stuffed.
I would love to see some pics of your Tea Party at the Cons.
CU soon?
How bout dinner some evening?
