What in ghod's name am I doing up at this hour?

Oh. Right. Gotta be on the phones RSN. Coffee is definitely in order.

It rained yesterday and most of the snow is gone, dernit. I really had hoped that we had the base cover for the winter now.

Matters at the cousin's place of business are heating up considerably, and I'm starting to get tired of saying my own name. 'nother three days this week, then two whole days off in a row. I can do this.

Fledgling is now funded almost to the end of Chapter Seven. That's just...amazing.

Hope everyone's Rush Toward Potlach is going smoothly and that y'all are getting enough sleep.

...coffee...

If you're tired of saying your own name, use some others. Rhonda, Antoine, Tiffany . . . you can use Mike too if you like. Or perhaps something on the extravagant side? Madam La Bouffant? Gold Bullion?

Go ahead, philander a bit. (Hum, I don't think that's exactly the right word - a lightning bug instead of lightning. Although fond of men seems almost right :-)

Oh, go look up the great discussion of names in Panshin's - Star Well or Masque World. Then feel free to use the right name.

So here is a question. At what point are you guys going to STOP writing Fledgling? Do you have a set point in mind? At the rate people are going you could be looking at 10-15 chapters being paid for. What happens if the story ends for you before the chapters paid for do? Something to think about.

Maybe the authors will go on until the novel is as long s Shogun. Then they'll be able to acquire Kroval Manor in Old Orchard Beach.

Madame La Bouffant?

Go On....

Take the money and run.

The other Steve Miller has it right, eh?

I definitely think that the story should be whatever the authors feel is the right length to fulfil the original plan; that is, to flesh-out the blank between I DARE and the next big thing. Whatever money can be made at that proposition , rightfully belongs to the authors, regardless of how much that may turn out to be. Feel free to keep it all, as long as we get the goods. After-all, if we had to wait for it in printed form, wouldn't we spend $25.00 or MORE per each? I know I would!

I can do this.

How many times have we had to say this in our lives? Mama didn't tell me how difficult life could be at times. But...I can do this.

How would Tiffany be? I use Dolly Parton for these hearts and clovers you sign in stores and put in a contribution to something.

I'll try again to put something in to Fledgling, last time it wouldn't believe I'd put everything in, to take my money.
