Saturday Ketchup, With Rain
Saturday, July 10th, 2004 05:05 pmThe laundry is almost done. This is key, as far as I'm concerned, because the several new pairs of jeans -- Jeans that fit! Jeans that don't fall off! If it gets any better than this, don't tell me. Ahem. -- The several new pair of jeans have now had their Ritual First Washing and are ready to be worn. Oh, the excitement.
With the shrinking of the laundry monster, we're settling back into our usual orbits and trajectories -- mixed blessing, there.
Last night we kicked back and watched "Galaxy Quest" for about the hundredth time. The tape's starting to throw out rainbows in a couple places. Time to spring for the DVD, I think...
Various writing biz things came to fruition while we were away; the most notable being that SFBC has acquired book club rights for Balance of Trade. The plan is to have it on offer in the October catalog.

Still in line for the weekend: SRM orders need to be packed up for Monday shipment; pages need to be written; vacuuming needs to get done; cats need to be skritched.
I'll be at the gym bright and sunshine early on Monday and we'll settle into routine -- for nine days, and then off to sunny North Carolina and the fine folks at Trinoc*coN. I haven't been in North Carolina since a friend loaned
