I just got my copy of To Ride a Rathorn. But I need to go reread the earlier books. But tell me, was it good? I just love her books . . .

Gives me something to anticipate as I finish.

Really. I'm going to finish the book.

Right . . . now.

Was To Ride a Rathorn good?

I read it; overall, I liked it. I thought that it could have been tighter, and told more story. But, then again, that may just be Greedy Reader, wanting More! Now!

You might try The Name of the Wind if you have 600+ pages of mental energy to spare. The scene where our hero plays The Lay of Sir Stavien on the 7-stringed lute is reminiscent of some of your heroes.
