Busy day, not enough words
Sunday, August 19th, 2007 07:13 pmAs reported elsewhere, I had errands to run on the day -- who is eating all this food? -- and they were duly dispatched.
Upon returning home, I assembled the field model of the European Dragon (Draco occidentalis magnus) from the kit that
kinzel gave me, and which will be a fine addition to the decor of the new office, there at the day-job. After assembling the model, I read pertinent bits of the dragon-hunter's guide to Scrabble, who had been an interested spectator to the construction, and who was pawing at the book when I came back from hanging the field model up in its Temporary Location. She listened intently to the information regarding habitats peculiar to dragons, studied the reproduced dragon footprints -- and then bolted for the basement.
I don't know if I should be worried about that or not, but no way I'm going down to the cellar.
