1. Do not ever, under any circumstances whatsoever, and especially if days&days&days have gone by with no problem, trust Microsoft Publisher not to screw you. (So, OK; I knew that. Call it a lesson relearned.)

2. If you shove in the catch tray of the Lexmark multiuse thingy over there on the work table, you will never, but never, be able to pull it out again.

3. There's a fandom for My Little Pony.

4. A device exists which is called a shedding rake, and boy does it get fur outta cats.

4a. This is the exact device Mozart has been telling me and telling me to acquire so he didn't have to beat me up every time I tried to brush him.

5. Even a late WorldCon will be upon you before you can adequately prepare for it.

MS Publisher. Very evil. I once tried to create a 1/3 sheet flyer with it, and ended up going out and buying PageMaker to finish the project. Evil, plus MS knows what you want to do and how to do it. I like a little more control than that.

Had to go and browse pictures of Sphinx kitties, omigod so cute, look just like dragons before the wings pop out.

I'm told that petting Sphinxes is much like petting hot water bottles. I've heard a lot of interesting reactions to Sphinx pictures, but I think your dragon description is the most flattering I've heard.
