Still have to write an afterword, and Steve needs to read it, but -- that's a wrap.

Having greatly enjoyed the live on-stage walkthrough, so to speak, I look forward to the final polished version.

About time!
Sorry, but after reading all those "good jobs" I felt contrary.
Sounds like ice cream time to me.

Yay! Take a few days to bask in the glow of completion. You deserve it.

We'll try to wait that long, before we start bugging you for the sequel to "I Dare."

Baen has the dead tree edition of Fledgling scheduled for the lead book in September 2009. They will sometime before that, we think, ship the number of pre-subscribed book to us so that we can inscribe them and send them to those folks who donated to the project as it was being drafted.

I will be very interested to read it, from the comments you haven't quite made about changes it sounds as though it will be almost a book I haven't read (similar possibly to the times I've read a short story and then later the novel developed therefrom).

Thanks for the previews, and Happy New Year!
