I just this morning had it borne in upon my punkinhaid that "summer" does not begin at the day-job until June 15. Obviously I had known that at some point, which is why Mouse and Dragon is due on Toni's electronic desk on July 15, but in the intervening time, I had managed to convince myself that "summer" actually began at the close of business May 29.
June 15. That's what? Forty (business) days. And forty nights, for symmetry's sake. How very...biblical.
Man, I'm not sure I have enough patience in reserve. Or enough vacation time to bridge the gap.
Sigh.
Writing now.
See you on flipside.
