Sorta emergency eye doctor visit on the schedule for early afternoon (gah).

In the meantime, a Poll! over at kinzel's place! We grew up in Baltimore, and both of us remember going down to the harbor to buy bananas off the boat, which has apparently given us a. . .skewed idea of when a banana is ripe for eatin'. Go weigh in on this important issue!

I won't eat a banana that's turned yellow. If it's not tart and firm, I don't want it!

Huh. Bananas are supposed to be slightly mushy and sweet. Tart and firm is for apples.

What's funny is that I was raised up to believe that eating a green banana would make you sick.
