...just sayin'.

In other news, I must and I will see this film. Omighod. What were they thinking? No, no, scratch that. I hope it's shown in a theater within striking distance of Waterville.

I have today received a communication from a lost soul, correcting their information, which is Good and I appreciate it immensely. Please note that I am behind on striking names off the list and in no case am I able to instantaneously strike a name from the list, as in, after the email has been sent, but before I've actually received it.

Thank you for your patience.

Remember! If your name is on this list, please follow the instructions at the top of the list. If you see a friend's name on the list, let them know, OK? It's the right thing to do.

Who here is an artist? More! Who here is an artist with a yen to draw/paint/ink a bat-wing horse? If this is you, drop me a note.

Boy, am I tired. And the sun's still out.

I think its Emily Brown the artist has done the bat winged horse, she has several books out with her work in them. I have even seen them at Hot Topic.

I'm not familiar with Emily's work (and trying to remember if there's still a Hot Topics in the Bangor Mall -- an hour from here. Jim?). Got a link?

I'll ask my roommate, this sounds like something he'd enjoy doing.

Okay, he's interested in doing it.

Was there a particular pose you wanted or anything?

Actually, there's a particular horse I want. I can send a description, or he can drop me a note and we can talk?

Aww, I'm probably no good at "a particular horse", but it was a fun diversion from studying!

I did a fast sketch for you, then couldn't figure out how to either 1) scan it properly or 2) post it to a comment. So it's over here.

So, uh, not to be impatient or anything, but are any in the mail yet? Because I evidently made my donation so long ago that I forgot about it and tried to buy another one. And then, luckily, I got the email confirming my address and was able to cancel the second one.

But still, can I start checking the mail?

bat-winged...bison?

I couldn't resist doing a search for bat winged horses, but when this image came up I had to pass it on. After all, how often do you find a bat-winged bison named Argent? I found the image at this link: http://www.calontir.sca.org/herald/armorial/Pages/awards.htm. I know that his name isn't really Argent, still, couldn't resist.
