Goodreads, Anyone?

Apparently I'm now a Goodreads Author. Still trying to figure out how it all works. Thanks to Red -- I'm assuming that's you, redpimpernel? -- for starting the author page and starting with the decorating.

Anyhow, everybody feel free to drop by.

Hey, thanks! I didn't know that we could add shelves, or post it over here on LJ. The widget has a disclaimer saying it won't work on LJ, so I never tried.

There are actual several widgets in a list, the first one that uses flash may not work on LJ, but the other static versions do work.

And you can add as many custom shelves as you want, and books can be on multiple shelves. At GoodReads the shelves never fill up, warp, or need to be dusted! I have shelves for library books, audio books, kindle books, as well as the more traditional topics.

Good to know! I have a few books on my list that I don't actually own, and I know I'll get confused when I want to read them, but can't find them. Now I know I can put them on a separate shelf.
