Tomorrow is Monday. I do believe that there are twice as many Mondays in any given year than there are Saturday and Sunday, combined.

Despite it's shortness, it was a productive weekend. Got a buncha business email out of the way; paid bills, as previously advertised; did some writing; did some planning; took some time off.

Steve and I have been watching "Have Gun, Will Travel," in half-hour gulps, which is an. . .interesting exercise. They've aged rather better than "The Man from Uncle," which I found I couldn't watch (*mourns*); certainly every bit as watchable as Peter Gunn and The Thin Man movies.

Part of what I've been doing with my Copious Free Time is building a Sharon Lee website. Since it's being tucked in around other, more pressing things, it's going about as fast you might imagine, given that I also need to teach myself WordPress as I go. I'd been thinking that one thing I might offer on the site is a recording of me reading the presentation I gave at Colby a few weeks ago. I can make an mp3, but doubt my editing skills, though perhaps someone who reads here may be able to help me out. The question is, does this sound like something you -- yes, you -- would like to find on an author's website?

In other news, tomorrow Hexapuma goes back to the vet's for his post-post-operative check-up. I think he looks great, and hope the doctor will think the same.

We hear from family in Maryland that the snow persists, which they take exception to. Here, we're all but snowless, and damned unnatural it seems, too.

So! Who's seen Alice? Whaddya think?

Being as she'd never expected to find herself in any such ridiculous and easily preventable condition, Miri had never studied much on how to be pregnant.

rarely listen to recordings myself - I'm a text person.

Saw Alice last night and loved it. Weird of course. Female empowerment as mentioned below.
