Happy New Year

It's been a pleasant weekend. I caught up with some SRM chores, notably the filing, and watched the BBC's Pride and Prejudice with kinzel; worked outside a bit; read a little; did some minor re-writing of Chapter 15, to reflect some revelations learned in Chapter 17, then moved on to Chapter 18.

Congratulations to papersky, author of Tooth and Claw, winner of the World Fantasy Award for best novel. Well deserved.


There's a lovely golden moon rising out of the clouds, and I'm going to get off this machine for the evening.

However you celebrate Halloween, may it be full of wonder.

May I ask a Liaden question? What happened to Luken bel'Tarda's true-children? He had some in the early novels, yet they never appear in Anthora's count of the clan.

I do reserve the right not to answer Liaden questions, though, and What Happened to Luken's Kids is one that I prefer not to answer, on the principle that All the Stories Aren't Written Yet.
