Doctor appointment early today -- the annual physical. Blood tests scheduled. Bone density scan scheduled. Sigh.

After the doctor, some errands, which took longer than they should have, and came home to learn that [livejournal.com profile] kinzel uses his considerable powers of prescience only for good. A wonderful hot lunch was just coming off the stove. Leftover tortellini and chunky tomato sauce. It doesn't get any better than this. Well, except maybe fresh tortellini and chunky tomato sauce.

Slogged through the end of month SRM bookkeeping in the afternoon, and got some work done on Crystal Dragon.

The plan is to get up early tomorrow and vote.

I hope the polls are crowded.

Leftovers

At our house, we believe that leftovers that resemble Italian food (read with or in tomatoe sauce) taste much better than fresh. By the way, I admire your dedication to the gym. Did the technician give you an indication of how your bone density was (up, down, same?)

Tomato sauce is the making of many leftovers, I've found.

Did the technician give you an indication of how your bone density was (up, down, same?)

Monday's visit was to the GP, She Who is in charge of asking questions and scheduling tests. The scan itself (it says here), will be on January 2. I'm hoping that the bone density in the hip is up. If it's not, apparently there are Drugs, and apparently the doctor Will Insist. So, we hope for more bone. If only we could do, like, a transplant from the head...

My bone density was on the wrong side of the bell curve for years, but just above "the line." Then, one year it dropped below, and I piled on the dietary calcium. It dropped a bit more. Worked harder at it; dropped more! Last year I started taking Fosamax; it's up 5% this year. Hate drugs! But hate broken bones even more.
