Where was I?
Wednesday, November 10th, 2004 09:00 pmRight. Picking nits along chapters 11 through 18. The rewrites are done through 17. Chapter 18, alas, is a wash and I'm starting over from the begining. I may be able to use some stuff from Chapter-18-that-was, but if so it'll be in a Highly Changed state.
Have I mentioned that all this needing to go back and tweak, pinch, and turn is awfully tedious? Hard to build up a head of steam, or feel like I'm accomplishing anything much.
Project: Crystal Dragon
New Words Written: Oh, call it 1,311
Total: 31,576
Goal: To get out of this book alive

Date: 2004-11-11 04:48 pm (UTC)Also envious about any book progress. Two nights ago, I dreamed the first scene of the new book, and it slipped away like sand in the am. I think it will come back, but right now, the last workshop ms is staring me in the face--and the one hour synopsis writing class (can I condense it? Inquiring minds want to know!)
Today is the best day to do it--forward....
