Boring old day

Did chores.  Tidied up some.  Did last tweaks to Carousel Tides proofs with an eye toward getting them in the mail tomorrow.  Scrubbled cats.  Talked to Steve on IM. Washed the winter jackets!  Wrote.  Stared at nothing.  Wrote some more.  Done writing for the day, and wondering if it’s too late to make a grilled cheese sammich.

Hope your day was more exciting.

scrubbling cats?

I too am worried about those scrubbled kitties. Perhaps you could explain tomorrow. As for my dogs I am very lazy. I take them to the groomer. They are bathed and hair cut. Gus can't be blow dried because his pug eyes bug out too much. Danger of hair cutting his eyeball which has happened once in the past. So he's brushed, combed, plucked and let go. Looking much better. I have a poodle, I confess, named Shannie because of his white hair. He's a fairly new arrival. Needs the full poodlie treatment. He's very good about it. Chihuahua mixes Sophie and Chickie bathed and nails done. Chickie must be put in a very secure hold with me assisting to do the nails which she really objects to. Where I work there is a groomer at the cat shelter who grooms, bathes, brushes, cuts nails of cats. Cats coming in must sometimes even be shaved if they've been very neglected and have lots of mats. Denise there is a cat grooming genius.
