Friday Mixed Bag

rolanniSo, I see that sharonleewriter.com crashed. (Actually, all of Maiahost appears to have crashed rather messily). It's back now, but entries made since last Saturday have apparently fallen through a hole in the space-time continuum. I can re-establish them from LJ, but...not this afternoon.
This afternoon, I think I'll have lunch, an antibiotic pill the size of my head, aaannnd -- a nap. Yep, another respiratory infection. Honestly, who issues these things, and how do I get off their mailing list?
In other news, it's snowing heavily, by which I mean (1) a lot and (2) the precipitation itself is very wet. Weatherbeans say 6-10 inches by the time it's all done, tonight. I say, I'll worry about that tomorrow.

Date: 2011-02-25 06:52 pm (UTC)When you have time, maybe install the DB backup (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/) plugin. You can have it automatically back things up once a day, either saving the file to the server or emailing it to you. (Gmail accounts are great for that sort of thing.) Of course, restoring from the backup file takes some know-how, and in this case I don't think it'd be worth the trouble, but it's good to have backups around if the host has a more serious problem.
