So,the gentleman who was supposed to come measure the floors this morning got caught up at another job, and rescheduled for tomorrow morning.

The great shifting of the front of the house to the back of the house continues. I am, unfortunately, down to the kitchen. Where in ghod’s name am I gonna put the stuff from the kitchen? Normally? I’d put in the living room. Not an option this time, obviously.

Made bread — that makes for two loves in the freezer, so that’s all good.

We’ve — actually, that would be Steve — got the first batch of SRM stock into the mail today, headed for its new home.

Put the trash out, did dishes, wrote.

The thrills just go on forever, don’t they?

Our Siamese cat, Toyon Big Foot, used to sit in the unfinished doorframe over our front door and jump down onto people's heads as they walked through. He liked my dad and brothers best, I think, because they were the tallest and he didn't have to jump so far! We are about to have all the ducting in our house redone as a new heating system is installed (no more propane, thank goodness!) and we will be without heat for a week. Praying for nice weather here in No. CA, where it has been in the high 30's this week, in the 70's last week. Go figure? Kathy in Ca
