The floor guys are gone, leaving new floors behind them. And quite a bit of clean-up and reorganization to do. This is what it looks like, sorta:

I especially like the kitchen floor. Is that some sort of linoleum looking like paved tiles?

It's vinyl, and it actually has texture; if you run your hand over it...it doesn't actually feel like stones, but it's not just smooth linoleum, either. I'm pretty happy with how well it turned out. The rug...is a rug; it's not orange shag and I am therefore a happy woman.

Yes, I can see that about the rug, too ;-). I went with cork on my floor and various sizes of Gabbeh rugs.
