I haven't read R.A. McAvoy in years, although I loved Tea With the Black Dragon. What did you think of Death and Resurrection?

Nobody's read Bertie in years; she dropped out of sight in the early 90s.

Tea with the Black Dragon, and The Grey Horse are my favorites of hers. The newest -- was a disappointment. It seemed to have been written in a couple chunks -- which there's nothing wrong with -- over a period of time, and the chunks got. . .less compelling as the book progressed. The last chunk is nothing more than a sketch for the concluding piece that ought to be there.
