Here we see Mozart getting into position to meet today's 90F/32C projected temps.  Note the pink toes, spread for maximum cooling surface.

Scrabble remains on-station in Steve's office.  Here also note the deployment of the toes.

Wildflowers in the cat gardenAbsent friends

On a related subject, today saw the first flowers bloom in the Cat Garden.

Steve is getting the air conditioners into the service, and I plan to spend a good part of the day doing laundry and playing around with the workshop description/class plan.

It's been really hot down here as well, you have to watch your step or risk offending a splatted cat.

I hear you. TX panhandle here, and we're forecast for a high of 104 tomorrow, 103 Thursday, and over 100 every day this week. It's 91 at 8 p.m. right now. I'm waiting until the wind dies down to hang out some laundry. At 34% humidity, I'm not worried about it drying in the dark. Too dang hot to hang it out in the daytime.

Always nice to see cat toes. Deployed to good advantage in the photos. Maine definitely heating up. Might also be due to the rather far out governor who was elected I guess it was in 2010. I would hazard a guess and say he's probably not a cat fan. Although one never knows.
