Trooper has adopted my printer for Purposes of His Own.

Lots of errands and stuff today.  Everybody stay warm or cool, according to preference.

Ah, yes, those things that are warm when turned on, make funny noises unpredictably and paper comes poking out one side. They are untrustworthy, unpredictable (and therefore intriguing), and high up, all of which are Attractive Attributes to Discerning Cats. The voice of experience feels constrained to point out the potential for CATastrophy if (a) Trooper eats paper (one of mine does -- printer paper, that paper I just printed out, sacks, paper towels, paper napkins, tissues, toilet paper, bills, etc.), (b) and/or he decides to pounce on the temptingly jiggling paper coming out the side, (c) and he unbalances the printer in the process and it falls over/on the floor, (d)and/or if he is heavy enough to break off the tray. (e) all of the above. When you are Too Far Away to Get There In Time.

(Oh, and FYI, The Utilities Company does not accept "My cat my bill" as a legitimate excuse for nonpayment of same. Just saying.)

Drive past the turn off to Old Orchard Beach twice last weekend, if it hadn't been so cold would have been very tempted to stop by... One of these days I'll get there!

Sadly now back in the UK so not an option. (but it's cold here as well, just not quite as cold and a lot damper)
