For those who have been waiting for this hour -- your waiting has been vindicated.

The kindle edition of Dragon in Exile, the eighteenth novel of the Liaden Universe®, created by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, is now on sale.  Here's your link.

Also!  The arrival of the kindle edition means that reviews are open at Amazon.com.  If you read the eArc, or if you are so moved after you read the eBook, please leave a reader review.

Also, also!  You may, of course, buy Dragon in Exile in every ebook format in the Known Universe from Baen ebooks. So even if you don't have a kindle, you can still buy the ebook today.  Here's your link.

And!  For those who may have missed it yesterday, "Chimera," a Liaden Universe® short story, is available to read for free at Baen.com.  Here's your link.

The official edition! I'll miss Officer prithee :)

I liked Chimera. It's a reminder of how many other stories are out there, even in the "real" world.

Do we know if there will be an Audible edition? I hope so, I've enjoyed them and look forward to having both eBook and audio book versions. Well, actually two eBook editions - one eARC and one released. Just finishing a re-read of Dragon Ship to be ready to start the re-read of Dragon in Exile.

Excellent! Audible isn't showing it available for pre-order so I was getting concerned. Thanks for the confirmation. And thanks for an excellent story. Very much enjoyed.

I am very old school. Waiting for my copy of Dragon in Exile from Mr. Blyly from Uncle H. I have to line the actual book book up next to all the others.

Lovely little story. Nice to see some of the background stories and I suspect we may meet Darby again.

Alas. My pre-ordered Nook copy (which claims a publication date of 5/16) is still not downloading. I hope that Baen and Barnes & Noble are not having a disagreement of some sort.

I just bought and read Dragon in Exile. I have to say, "Skene Liep"? REALLY?

Now I have to go dig out all my Jo Clayton paperbacks.

I have to sat, thank you for reminding me of Skeen. I had forgotten, alas, how elegant her picaresque is.

Finished the Leap just now. Onward!

When I got to Tocohl, I started to cry. My husband is sure I've slipped a cog somewhere.
