Market Research: T-shirts and denim

We may have finally found a place capable of doing a new round of quality Liaden related shirts and t-shirts, including some embroidered items.  We're due to talk in depth with these folks RSN -- as in after our book tour.

In our as yet very preliminary discussions a question of quantity comes up, because while embroidered items can be done on an "each" basis (we've got several samples on hand of the embroidery quality), the screen-printing process works best for larger quantities. So, without specifying colors/special wording or the like, we need to figure out if there's a current market for Liaden-themed t-shirts as well as denim embroidered. Yes, there's a minimum practical number, but we're not sure yet where that will turn out to be.

What do you think? Would you want one t-shirt? Three? One for every day of the week? Multiple colors? We'll be asking on our Facebook groups and while we're on tour.

This is preliminary interest, these are surveys and not order-taking. Nothing firm will happen until later in the summer or early fall.

I'd probably buy a shirt, but would prefer to have a long-sleeve option (no good Liaden ever seems to have a problem with sunburn, but I have). Some places can do polo shirts as well.

It would depend completely on the design. I would definitely buy an embroidered Tree & Dragon ball cap if you decide to offer those. T-shirts depending...

An embroidered Tree and Dragon, on a polo or long-sleeve denim would be a definite sell here. One of each (long sleeve denim for the winter, short sleeve polo for the summer) would be even better. But no t-shirt interest.

I rarely wear long sleeves but would be interested an pretty much anything. About one to two hundred dollars worth, perhaps a bit more if the designs took my fancy.

Depending on the state of my finances at the time, I would *definitely* want one of each. *Especially* if embroidered, given that embroidery lasts longer than printing

Yes, I would be interested, depending on design. I still wear my Carousel T shirt. Tree and Dragon, for sure. Both long and short sleeves, denim sounds interesting per above comment, and I can go for either screen and/or embroidery. Please make sure the items are at least hip length - I won't buy a waist length shirt.

Not that I need more stuff.... But I'd like a short sleeved Golf-Shirt in a solid color. Or perhaps two.... One in Emerald Green to match the dragon's eyes.

My T-shirt from Balticon, with Tree & Dragon on it, has been well worn - and might need replacing soon. However, I like them nice and soft, screen printing. So, I might skip.

I particularly like the device you are using for your user picture on this post. I do not like the little up on one shoulder design. I want big, bold, unmistakable, front and center, please. Thanks!
