This just in from Neilson Bookscan, for the week of June 10, 2015:

Dragon in Exile by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller hit the #9 slot for overall sales of science fiction books during the week of May 31, and! it was the #3 bestselling science fiction hardcover for the period, as well.

Baen's intrepid publicist lets us know that Dragon sold 100 more copies than Trade Secret during its first week released in the wild.

Thank you all!

Woo!

How many of those were direct from the publisher, since Nook is not released yet?

Inquiring minds want to know what happened to the Nook release?

I got mine from the publisher, since I Like to keep all my series in one format (Nook)

There's a thread in Toni's Table at bar.baen.com about Dragon in Exile being late appearing at Kobo? You might want to let them know about Nook, since I'm sure that baensupport@principledtechnologies.com would like to know if there are problems.

Bookscan counts paper books only and not from every outlet. For instance, and last I heard, Amazon does not report its sales to Bookscan.

I stand corrected: Wal*Mart does not report to Bookscan.

I can't do a thing about Nook editions or Kobo editions or even the stock of Real Books at a particular library. All of these problems fall under the honor of the publisher. All I can do is reiterate Mike's suggestion that you contact the publisher's support beans: baensupport@principledtechnologies.com

You can be sure that your sales will climb again once Lazy-Hinney Barnes and Noble get their act together and release the Nook version. I check for it every day and I'd wager I'm not the only reader doing so.
