If I didn't already have my copy, I'd want hardcover. But I've got the trade paperback and I take good care of my books so I won't need another copy for another 20 years or so.

I'll still encourage others to buy them, but I can't commit to buying any of the next run.

So yeah, my answers, on poll #855099.....

1) Yes, I would tell everyone, but I couldn't purchase another for myself.
2) Yes! I would purchase at least two of those as gifts.
3) Sadly, no.
4) I prefer hardcovers to own, B to gift, and C if nothing else is available, or I don't intend to keep it (Which does not apply in this case. ).

I should mention that although I love my hard copy, hard copy becomes increasingly difficult to hold up -- trade gives larger print and seems to weigh less. I admit I hadn't thought of pushing the short stories to the library, and I should.

Another project for after I recover from finding the house (no, really! I found the fireplace and a wood box larger than most of my chairs...)
